Household Plumbing Inspection
24/7 Service: 510-528-4292
At Ehret Co. Plumbing & Heating, we take a holistic approach to plumbing that goes beyond emergency repairs. We don’t only fix leaking pipes and backed up sewers. Our trained technicians can identify the early signs of major plumbing problems, and can reduce their likelihood by fixing them before they can wreak havoc on your life.
Plumbing inspections protect your home from major repairs
As a preventative measure, we encourage you to have a licensed plumber inspect your household plumbing every one or two years, or before moving into a new house. Ehret Co. makes inspections easy by using a variety of techniques to search for repair issues, including video camera inspection to study the integrity of water lines.
After your inspection, Ehret Co. will give you a report of issues and solutions. If you have a leaking pipe, we can patch it up. If your water pressure is low because of underground leaking pipes, we can draw up a plan for repair or replacement. Other issues we’ve found during inspections are running toilets, water damage in crawl spaces, tree roots affecting underground lines, and code violations.
Ehret Co. Plumbing & Heating views every customer as an extension of our family, so our work doesn’t end until we know your plumbing is safe.
Our household plumbing inspection includes the following:
- Earthquake valves & gas pressure testing
- Faucets & sinks
- Garbage disposals
- Gas lines
- Hot & cold water piping
- Shower & tub valves
- Showers & tubs
- Water mains
- And anywhere else water flows
Inspections are also useful when you already know you have a problem. Even if you can’t identify the exact issue, an inspection will reveal if you have multiple interconnected problems. A slowly draining tub might be more than a clogged drain. You might also have a sewer line problem that eventually causes your tub to backup with sewage.
You may be surprised by what an inspection uncovers, but it’s better to find out now than later, when the damage worsens and costs more to repair.
